Mexico City’s 10 priciest schools charge $1,050USD a month: the same as Lima and Bogotá
Average monthly tuition at the ten most expensive schools in each capital: Washington DC $4,800USD, São Paulo $1,850USD, Mexico City $1,050USD, Lima $1,000USD, Bogotá $1,000USD, Santiago $850USD, Guatemala City $650USD. Mexico’s elite schools charge practically the same as those in Lima and Bogotá, in a larger economy and far from the regional ceiling.
Put another way: not even Mexico’s premium segment has reached the price its market could bear. It has room to grow in both volume and price, a luxury very few industries can claim. And one detail from the Peruvian model: Lima’s elite schools charge entry fees of up to $18,500USD per family. That’s why none of them can afford to lose a family to an unanswered WhatsApp.
What is one full enrollment worth at your school? And does your process live up to that number?
