Enrollment X-Ray series · October 2026 edition · data point 04 of 19

8 leads a day reach the median institution.

Demand exists and it is measurable. What almost nobody measures is how many of those families got a reply within the first five minutes.

How many leads a private school in Mexico gets per day: 8 at the median, 15 at universities

New leads per day in the October 2026 edition: 3 in primary schools, 5 high schools and 15 in universities. The median institution gets 8 a day and enrolls 67 new students a year.

The number that matters is not how many arrive but how many drop off along the way. In most Enrollment X-Rays, nobody at the institution can say how many families reached out last month or at what stage each one went cold. Not out of negligence: because nobody designed the process to see it.

How many families wrote to your school this week? And how many of them got a reply within minutes?

Where it comes from

Leads per day: as reported by the director in the Enrollment X-Ray (all channels). New students: enrolled in the last school year. Sample: 102 Enrollment X-Rays completed between March and October 2026 with owners and directors of 102 private institutions in 69 Mexican cities. These are institutions that requested the diagnostic, not the country. Median, not average: one school with 7,000 students skews the average and makes it lie. n = 33 / 12 / 41 / 96 (primary schools, high schools, universities, all).

Median before average; no figure based on fewer than 5 institutions is published. Full methodology.
